Wildlife Mid-Range Safari

7 DAYS HOLIDAY

Itinerary

This unforgettable Africa safari packages will take you to the Lake Manyara National Park, one of Tanzania's most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a shallow but huge soda lake, located at the foot of the Great Rift Valley's western escarpment. The size of the park makes it perfect for a one-day game drive and is notably famous for it's tree-climbing lions. This safari will also take you to the Serengeti National Park, a massive wilderness of 14500 square km, where every day brings a new landscape and a new adventure. It will also take you to the Ngorongoro Crater and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in Tanzania, featuring one of the highest concentrations of game and arguably the densest population of predators and carnivores in Africa.

Here you will witness an amazing spectacle of African wildlife - inside a self-contained world teeming with animals. Finally, your safari will also take you to the Tarangire National Park, which once again features some of the greatest concentration of game in Tanzania - second only to the Ngorongoro Crater - but less crowded and unspoiled - possessing a wild and unkempt beauty.

In the morning you will be picked up from your hotel to start your safari to the Tarangire National Park. Bush savannah, seasonal swamps and giant baobab trees make up the landscape of this nature reserve and the park is probably one of the best places in East Africa to see elephants. Not only they are found in thousands but also, they seem to be more accustomed to the vehicles, and for this you can be closer to these gigantic animals. It is not only the elephants rather a varied numbers of animals such as to Masai giraffes, various gazelles, antelopes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, baboons and more than 500 types of birds make this the one stop solution for both the bird and the animal lovers. After the game drive you will leave the park in the late afternoon and drive to the lodge for your overnight stay.
-Overnight at Marera Valley Lodge

Today’s destination is the typical Masai village of Ngare Sero in the hot and dusty Rift Valley. From a distance you might be getting to see the pick glow of the flamingoes while breeding and feeding and with the going down of the sun you will join a Masai guide on a walk to a nearby waterfall. In Massai Serengeti means “endless plains” and truly you would find the grassland savannah stretching here to the horizon with the dotted grazing animals. Serengeti is a must sought park for anyone planning for Tanzania. Because, I am the park, where the greatest wonder of the world “The Annual migration of wild beasts “is conducted in which millions of the animals’ march in quest of fresh pasture and water without caring for their life and even the life of their calves. After your game viewing you will overnight at your lodge in the northern of the park.
-Overnight at Embalakai Tented Camp
-Meals:Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included

The entire day is dedicated to game viewing in the Serengeti National Park. The areas that you will visit will depend upon where the migrating herds are to be found. Predators usually follow closely behind the trekking animals. During the short rainy season in November and December the herds move from the hills in the north to the plains in the south. During the longer rainy season from April to June they return up north. As the migration depends upon the yearly rains, the location of the herds might vary from year to year but guide will know where to see them best. After game drive you will be transferred to your lodge.
